We got some decent snow today in Bedford. Enough to groom the ball fields and connectors and set some classic tracks too. Blowing snow tonight may fill some of the tracks but ski a couple laps and all will be well again. Did not venture into the woods with the groomer. Cold temps for the next few days should help keep things open until at least Monday when things start to warm up again.
The precipitation started as snow last night, in total probably 4 inches. This was followed by heavy rains that wiped everything out. Slushy puddles are all that remain.
Forecast calls for more warm weather through the weekend. Potential for snow on Tuesday. Fingers crossed!
We groomed the 3 ball fields and connectors in the morning. Not enough snow to go into the woods with the groomer.
With the second batch of snow that came after lunch we were able to do a late second groom of the ball fields and press down some classic tracks as well.
Snow is light and fluffy and tracks are still a little soft, but hey, finally we can ski local! Monday and Tuesday should be awesome skiing. Enjoy !!
