Saw some snowshoe tracks out there this morning while grooming. The wet snow had time to drain overnight and we did a 5 am groom. Temps will drop a little this morning to help firm up the tracks. The 3 ball fields and connectors are in great shape for both skating and classic. Made a pass on Brook trail but coverage is thin, be careful in the woods.
We received a good amount of wet snow last night and it’s still falling lightly out there. The snow needs to drain before we can groom and track set which will we will do late tonight after everything freezes up.
Hit the snowshoe trails today. It’s beautiful out there with all the sticky snow in the trees. Tomorrow will be a much better day to ski!
This photo is from Thursday and things only got worse from there. No skiable snow at Legacy. Something (I’ve stopped calling them storms) is brewing Sunday into Monday and if we get enough we will get back out there and groom, groom, groom.
