Mother Nature delivered just enough for us to be able to groom the 3 ball fields. Connector trail is a little thin so be careful. Too many walkers and not quite enough snow to groom any of the trails in the woods. Staying cold at night so we should hold onto this for the week.
Today it was 45 degrees and puddles formed on the ball fields as can be seen in this photo. Sunny, high of 28 degrees with gusty winds tomorrow so it will turn into an ice rink. Does not make for good skiing.
Unfortunately the warm temps have not been so kind to Legacy Park trails. The 3 ball fields are skiable but Brook trail, Chesterfield and Powder are looking a pretty tired (and icy).
We are supposed to get some snow and rain tomorrow so not sure what it will look like this weekend. On a more positive note, if it snows we will groom so you can get out for some fresh air!
