2/29/2016 – All trails are green, well more like brownish.

The Bedford Cross-Country Ski Club was created in 1996 by an enthusiastic group of local nordic skiers wanting to establish a ski club for those with a shared passion for cross-country skiing in southern New Hampshire.  Since then, our club has grown significantly and today provides ski instruction, equipment, a warming hut for skiers during the ski season and trails for local skiing right in town at Legacy Park.

The Legacy Park 5km Nordic Ski Trail System is maintained and groomed by Bedford Cross-Country Ski Club volunteers.  Over 100 area high school and middle school Nordic racers practice on the trails, as well as host local races.  Every Sunday the Club runs its  “Bill Koch League” which introduces children to cross-country skiing in a fun and supportive environment.  Depending on age and ability, a variety of coached groups for novice and competitive skiers up to 8th grade are run by Club volunteer coaches.

Legacy Park is open to the skiing public as well.

The BXCSC is a 501(C) (3) charitable organization and exists because of its dedicated volunteers and funding from membership, donations and corporate sponsors.
