Trails & Conditions

Closed for the season.

Made a couple passes of the ball fields and Brook Trail with the snowmobile.  Great back country skiing and snowshoeing!

Some snow left on the fields but pretty patchy.  Trails have not been groomed in a while.  Best to use snowshoes.

Lots of snow for us to pack down and groom from the blizzard.  We have started but it will take a few days to get things just right!

Rain, rain go away!  It was slushy yesterday out there, today it will be in the 60’s.  Skis trails are a mess.

Groomed is fixed.  All trails are groomed except far ball field.

Please no walkers as the snow is soft and walking punches big hole in the trails. Snowshoes work great and help pack down the trail.

Grooming machine broke.  Trails not groomed but open to backcountry skiing (break your own trail) and snowshoeing.

School is closed today because of the approaching storm.  Let’s hope we get a bunch.  We will groom the trails late today or early tomorrow.   More later!

The storm last week put 2 inches of snow followed by rain all of which froze up. We ran the groomer around the ball fields and Brook Trail. It is skiable but please be careful out there.

Here’s hoping we get some snow on Tuesday night!  Current conditions at Legacy.

The rain and high temperatures has wiped us out.  Sorry to report there is nothing left out there to ski on.

We got a couple of inches last night.  Ball fields, connectors, Brook Trail, Riddle Drop and Chesterfield are groomed.  Little dicey on Chesterfield.  Powder Hill not groomed.  Cold but beautiful out there today.

The 3 Ball fields and connectors were groomed for today’s high school race.  Things are pretty good for skating, connectors can be a little icy so be careful.  Brook Trail, Powder Hill and Chesterfield Loops have not been groomed since the rain 2 days ago.  Best to use snowshoes on the wooded trails until we get some more snow.

Last night’s snow made it possible to open up the trails at Legacy again.  Ball fields are groomed as are the connectors. Brook Trail and Riddle Drop are open.  Chesterfield and Powder hill are NOT groomed as there is too much tree cover and the snow didn’t quite make it to the ground on these trails.  The snow is a little soft for skating, better to bring your Classic skis.

We laid a few Classic tracks around the ball fields and connectors yesterday.  Received 3″ of snow this morning so things are pretty good now.  Woods still not groomed.

It is raining this morning and we will stay off the trails in hopes that the 6″ of beautiful snow that fell yesterday does not get washed away.

PLEASE refrain from walking on the trails.

All of the ball fields and connector trails are groomed for skate technique.  Little thin in some areas of Brook Trail.  Chesterfield and Powder Hill Loops have not been groomed as we need more snow for better coverage.

We got some snow this morning!  Did some light grooming on the soccer field today but it is very wet.  Tonight it will freeze up and should make for better skiing tomorrow.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Pretty sure those are crocuses emerging in the garden!

Some more fluffy stuff fell from the sky.  Trails are groomed, mostly for skate.  Be careful on Powder Hill Loop.

We got 6″ of snow today.  Alan is busy grooming!
